Melanie Conant
Designer, Owner

Melanie Conant, the founder of Conant Design Group, is an accomplished leader in interior architecture and design. With over 25 years of experience, Melanie has established herself as a thought leader, known for her award-winning designs across multifamily housing, senior living, mixed-use, and commercial office interiors. Beginning her career in NYC, she worked on high-end hotel projects for strategic brands like Marriott and Hilton. Later, as the Director of Design at Currier and Associates, Melanie expanded the firm's focus from healthcare to senior living, significantly growing the team. Notably, Melanie founded and led the interiors department at The Architectural Team, where her leadership fostered numerous award-winning projects.
A graduate of Syracuse University with a BFA in Interior Design, Melanie's journey reflects her commitment to exceptional design and client-driven solutions, establishing her as a respected figure in the industry.
Kate MacAulay
Interior Designer

Kate MacAulay is a forward-thinking and creative Interior Design with 15 years of experience in commercial design. Kate has a passion for utilizing the latest technology and design tools to aid clients in visualizing their projects, ensuring that their vision is understood and maintained throughout the design process. With experience across a multitude of project types including multi-family, senior living, commercial office, historic renovation, healthcare/lab and government work, Kate brings a love of collaboration and understanding of market trends to all her projects.
Prior to joining CODesign, Kate worked as an interior designer at The Architectural Team in Chelsea, MA, focusing on multi-family and affordable housing, and as a senior interior designer at a national multidisciplinary firm specializing in veterans’ healthcare projects across the country. Kate graduated from Endicott College with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design and a concentration in Sustainable Design.
Laura Mangrum
Interior Designer
NCIDQ, LEED Green Associate
Laura brings over 8 years of diverse design expertise to CODesign, specializing in multifamily housing, senior living, hospitality, mix-used, and corporate projects. With a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Endicott College, she honed her skills at The Architectural Team in Chelsea, MA, collaborating with familiar faces Melanie and Kaitlyn. Laura's career journey also included a role as Design and Sourcing Coordinator at Creative Materials Corporation, broadening her understanding of the distribution and production aspects of the industry.
Passionate about the transformative power of design, Laura is dedicated to crafting spaces that positively impact users' lives. Her commitment to sustainability and inclusive design drives her to deliver innovative solutions that enrich communities. At CODesign, Laura's adept problem-solving and creative vision align seamlessly with the firm's mission to create meaningful and cohesive environments, furthering the company's commitment to excellence.
Kaitlyn Wiles-Rosell

Kaitlyn Wiles-Rosell is an accomplished Interior Designer with over 9 years of diverse project experience, specializing in multifamily housing, senior living, mixed-use, corporate, and affordable housing. Her meticulous attention to detail and collaborative spirit have made her a valuable asset in creating unique and aesthetically pleasing environments that cater to both clients and end users. Serving as a designer at CODesign, Kaitlyn working on projects from conception to completion, ensuring a seamless process and exceptional results.
Prior to joining CODesign, she gained valuable experience at The Architectural Team in Chelsea, MA, and CWS Architecture + Interior Design in Scarborough, ME. Kaitlyn holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design with a concentration in Sustainable Design from Endicott College, showcasing her dedication to environmentally conscious design practices.
